CEP 810  Teach Understanding with Computers

This class focused on how to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in an educational setting.  It also explains aspects and analysis of technology use in the classroom.

CEP 811  Adapting Innovative Technology to Education
Instructors: J. CODDE, M. WHITE
This class focused on how to use technology as an independent learning tool.  Some ways this can be done is by creating a webpage, a WebQuest, or a blog.

Summer 2009

CEP 820 Teaching K-12 Students Online
Instructor: R. DICKSON
This class focused on how technology can help teachers meet various levels of educational needs.  For this class I created a WebQuest and PowerPoint that teach skills in untraditional ways.  These sites can also be used for enrichment or reteaching.

CEP 812 Apply Education Technology to Problems
Instructor: J. CODDE
This class focused on problems in the education system that the use of technology could help solve.  It gives students the chance to design, implement, and evaluate on educational problem.  Lastly, students are introduced to the benefits of podcasts in the classroom.

CEP 800 Learning in School and Other Settings
Instructors: B. THELAMOUR, A. WILCKEN, L. WOLF
In this class, students are taught about different theories of learning and connect these theories to their own learning and teaching.  This class spends more time working on podcasts and teaching how to make an educational iMovie.

CEP 822 Approaches to Educational Research
Instructor: E. WONG
This class focused on researching and analyzing educational studies.  It was then our job to critique it and look at data to come up with a focus, rationale, as well as, final research on the pros and cons.
