Welcome!

    This website contains my Capstone Portfolio for Educational Technology from MSU! I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about me as a elementary teacher and a professional learner.  Please use the links above to see my personal goals, resume, and samples of my work.

    I currently live and teach in Portage, MI.  Our school district has eight elementary schools, three middle schools and two high schools.  Woodland Elementary School is located right in the heart of Portage.  Our school services Y5's-5, as well as, the county Hearing Impaired Program, Prep, and ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education).  I currently teach first grade and have 3 mainstreamed hearing impaired students in my classroom.

    When I am not teaching, I am a wife to my wonderful husband Tim and mom to 2 wonderful little boys, Nolan and Caden.  I love spending time as a family, shopping, and playing volleyball. Our family also includes a six year old aussidor (lab/aussie mix) named Brody.  I love teaching, but I do look forward to my summers at home with my family!
